Dr. Michel van Hulten (1930), Professor Governance at SAXION University of Applied Sciences, School of Governance, Law and Urban Development, academic studies as  human geographer, PhD Amsterdam University (1962) thesis on ‘Collectivization of Agriculture in the Polish People’s Republic, 1944-1960’.

Dr. van Hulten is a researcher specializing on corruption and integrity since 1984.

Past positions include the University of Amsterdam, Dutch civil service, Dutch Senator and MP, Government (Deputy minister of Transport), UNDP (Resident Representative in Ouagadougou and in Kuala Lumpur and first researcher on corruption in the New York Headquarters in 1984-1986), World Bank (Global Coalition for Africa (1991-1996), DG Consumers International.
