Victor Alistar - Executive Director Transparency International Romania

Victor Alistar is a lawyer within the Bucharest Bar Association, a professor at the Romanian National School of Political and Administrative Studies and currently leads the fight against corruption in Romania as he is the executive director of Transparency International Romania.

He started his activity with Transparency International Romania in 2003 and led the Centre for Legal Advice, a pioneer programme of Transparency International which now counts up to 50 such centres throughout the world. For the past seven years he has been the executive director of Transparency International Romania, during which time the organization has become a leader of opinion in issues regarding the governmental reform of the state.
